Cyber Security Awareness for Decision Makers

Course Description

This 2-day course provides an introduction to modern attacks targeting corporate environments via the human factor.

The course provides a clear view of modern threat actors and their techniques, focused on advanced social engineering, physical security and the exploitation of weaknesses in technologies used by large organisations. Students will understand how they can be targeted or affected by an advanced attack, and countermeasures to avoid full compromise of the organisation IT estate following a security breach.

The instructor is an experienced Cyber Security practitioner with material presented in a local context. The content and examples are based on real world attacks and common techniques currently used by threat groups. Also some case studies to be discussed to discover various vectors of attacks and defence techniques.

The course is delivered at the unclassified level and is available at one of Babcock’s public course offerings or at your workplace, subject to minimum student numbers. Customisation can also be provided upon request.
