Electronic Warfare Foundations

Course Description

This practical 3-day course provides a powerful introduction to the world of electronic warfare (EW) from an engineering and operations perspective.

The course provides insight and awareness across the three EW subdivisions – Electronic Attack, Electronic Protection and Electronic Support with students leaving the course understanding the concepts of operation and the general techniques used within each division. Contemporary issues such as cyber operations, platform integration (and effects) and mission management are also discussed.

The course is delivered by current and former Australian EW practitioners with material presented in a local context. Throughout the course, understanding and knowledge is built on the real-world application of theory, with case studies used to highlight and reinforce key points where necessary.

The course is delivered at the unclassified level and is available at one of Babcock’s public course offerings or at your workplace, subject to minimum student numbers. Customisation can also be provided upon request.
